Short Bio:

Stephen is a graduate of Lipscomb University with a B.A. in Theatrical Design and a member of USITT (United States Institute for Theatre Technology). Selected theatrical lighting design credits include GYPSY, THE CASH LEGACY (World Premiere), IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE, STEEL MAGNOLIAS, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, INTO THE WOODS, THE HANK LEGACY (World Premiere), MY FAIR LADY, BIG RIVER, A CHRISTMAS CAROL, SMOKEY JOE’S CAFE (Studio Tenn), OLEANNA, MAGIC (Blackbird Theater), RABBIT HOLE, NEXT TO NORMAL (Circle Players), MARRY POPPINS (Act Too Pro), TARZAN (National Association for Music Education). In addition to theatre, Stephen works as Lighting Designer for concerts and other events at the Franklin Theatre. Here, he has had the privilege to work with artists such as Jo Dee Messina, The Bacon Brothers, Michael McDonald, Bill Medley, Art Garfunkel, Kix Brooks, Wynonna, Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers, and Blue Sky Riders, among others. Stephen is the proud recipient of the 2016 USITT Rising Star Award.
